Carrie Underwood and guitarist Kevin Eubanks 'World`s Sexiest Vegetarians'

Washington, June 27: Singer Carrie Underwood and guitarist Kevin Eubanks have won the ‘World`s Sexiest Vegetarians’ title at PETA`s annual contest.
The 24-year-old Underwood is not new to the title, for she won the tag in 2005 as well.
However, the award is new to the for NBC`s ‘Tonight Show’ band leader Eubanks, who bagged votes due to his show’s host Jay Leno, who urged people to vote for the 49-year-old and ‘bring honour’ to the show.
The runners-up of the title, which saw more than 110,000 people casting their votes on the animal rights group’s website included ‘The Village’ actor Joaquin Phoenix, ‘Heroes’ actor Milo Ventimiglia, ‘Veronica Mars’ actress Kristen Bell, actress Bryce Dallas Howard, actor/musician Jared Leto and actress Lisa Edelstein.
Last year’s winners for the contest were Prince and Kristen Bell.
Earlier, the award had been picked up by Natalie Portman, Andre 3000, Coldplay`s Chris Martin, Shania Twain, Tobey Maguire, Lauren Bush, Josh Hartnett and Alicia Silverstone.

Driver Raja is still Rajni's best friend

Bangalore, June 27: Mega star Rajnikant is not oblivious to his tough-time friends and is very much in contact with them.
Raja Bahadur, a retired bus driver, is one such trusted friend of Super Star Rajnikanth. It was a celebration time for him as Rajnikanth's much-hyped Sivaji was declared a mega hit.
He watched the movie on Friday in Bangalore. He was thrilled. He was speechless.
This enduring friendship began in the early 1970s when Bahadur drove the then Bangalore Transport Service's route Number 10A that plied between Majestic and Srinagar and Rajni was a conductor in that bus.
It was Bahadur who spotted acting talent in Rajnikanth and forced him to take up a career in acting.
After that time it was not looking back for Rajni and Raja is still an enduring friend to him. Whenever the Superstar visits Bangalore he never forgets to visit Raja.
